Process
The first step is to measure the entire perimeter of the glass to obtain its real curvatures.
The second step is to apply the mastic along the perimeter. This process must be very precise because the applicator should never be more than 2mm away from the edge of the windshield but never touch it because it would break.
The system includes
Laser scanner. Taking a complete 3D image of the perimeter of the windshield.
Robot. Scanner & mastic applicator embarked in it.

Accurate: The s Accurate. The system is capable of obtaining a 3D map of the glass perimeter with a resolution of less than 0.1mm. And the applicator runs around the perimeter at a controlled distance between 1 and 2 mm.
Flexible: The system is capable after scanning of adapting itself to any shape of any windshield.
Fast: It scanns and applies the mastic much faster than the previous mechanical system.
