Gocator displacement sensors are non-contact laser distance measurement devices that are ideal for determining 3D thickness, height, and surface roughness. The sensors operate at speeds up to 32,000 Hz and ideal for closed loop control or inline inspection of manufactured parts. These sensors are available in various pre-calibrated models for different measuring ranges and resolutions and include built-in support for encoders and multi-sensor synchronization to support demanding inspection needs.

Serie 2000 “Profile Sensor”

Laser Line Profile Sensors.

Rapidly create cross-sectional profiles for measuring features of an object’s surface. And by moving an object under the laser line, you can create many profiles that can be combined into a full 3D shape for volumetric analysis.

Gocator Profile Sensors are laser line measurement devices that measure cross-sectional shapes of parts and materials surfaces. Cross-sections can be collected to create 3D point clouds representing whole parts for performing volumetric measurements. The same sensor can also generate highly detailed laser intensity images for use with common 2D image processing software. With scan rates of up to 5000 Hz and measurement ranges up to 800 mm (2.63 ft), Gocator profile sensors offer the flexibility for easy integration into production facilities for inspection and control.
